Seven degrees, one route in.

Entry is through UTME, with a personal statement and two interviews after it. Everything the application asks for is listed below.

What this route is.

Undergraduate entry runs through JAMB like any other Nigerian university. We are accredited by the National Universities Commission and profiled on the JAMB portal, so the UTME route is the route.

Beyond the score, the application asks for a personal statement and puts every eligible candidate through two interviews. That is deliberate: a UTME score measures one thing well and says nothing about whether a candidate will thrive on an intensive four-year schedule.

Applicants who already hold a Master's or doctoral degree may apply for a bachelor's degree, and may be required to sit the JAMB examination. Transfer and direct entry are accepted above 100 level.

Before you start.

  • A UTME score that meets the cut-off for the programme you are applying to.
  • Your O'Level results. Credits may be combined across two sittings.
  • Your JAMB result slip. An application submitted without one may be rejected.
  • A scan or clear photograph of each O'Level result, your birth certificate, and a passport photograph.
  • A parent or guardian's name, phone number and email address.
  • A short personal statement.

The process.

  1. Step 01

    Apply online

The form saves as you go, so it can be completed across several sittings. A printed copy is never required.

  2. Step 02

    Submit your statement and documents

Upload scanned documents and passport photographs with the application. Originals are sighted at registration, not before.

  3. Step 03

    Telephone screening

A short conversation with a member of our admissions team, conducted by video.

  4. Step 04

    Panel interview

A longer conversation about your statement, your motivations and your ambitions. There is no right answer being looked for.

  5. Step 05

    Decision

Communicated by email, ordinarily within three weeks of interview.

  6. Step 06

    Accept and register

Accepting the offer secures the place. Registration follows, and originals are sighted then.
