The programme.

The B.Sc. Economics grounds students in economic theory and in the real-world data that tests it. The quantitative training is deliberately heavier than is typical, because an economist who cannot handle data is an economist who cannot be checked.

Nigerian macroeconomic questions of currency, subsidy and trade through the very port the campus sits inside are used as teaching material rather than treated as special cases of a Western model.

Students finish able to build an econometric argument end to end: source the data, specify the model, defend the identification, and state plainly what it does and does not show.
