Prospective undergraduates on campus

Undergraduate applications are open for the 2026 intake

Entry runs through UTME. Cut-off marks and subject combinations are set per programme and confirmed by our admissions office.

Applications for the 2026 undergraduate intake are open across all seven bachelor's degrees. Entry runs through UTME, and cut-off marks are set per programme rather than across the university, so the mark that admits you to one degree is not necessarily the mark that admits you to another.

NUTM is accredited by the National Universities Commission and profiled on the JAMB portal, so applicants apply through the same route as any other Nigerian university. Required O'Level subject combinations differ by degree and are confirmed by our admissions office when you apply.

What the application asks for

  • Your JAMB registration number and UTME result slip
  • Your O'Level results, which may be combined across two sittings
  • A passport photograph and proof of date of birth
  • A parent or guardian's details
  • A personal statement
  • A telephone screening, then a panel interview, both conducted by video

The form saves as you go, so it can be completed across several sittings, and applications are processed on a rolling basis. Applicants are ordinarily told the outcome within three weeks of interview.

Transfer and direct entry are accepted above 100 level. Offers cannot currently be deferred. Applicants who need to start later reapply in the following cycle.
